import_legacy_if_present

Import the old desktop DB into the new store if present. Idempotent — safe to call multiple times; it short-circuits once meta.migrated_from is set.

legacy_desktop_db_path

Returns the platform-specific path where the desktop app stored its SQLite database before consolidation.
