pub fn lower_dar_selecting(
dar: &Dar,
selection: &Selection,
external: &ExternalPackages,
) -> Result<(Crate, Vec<SkippedType>), DecodeError>Expand description
The same, emitting only the packages a Selection names.
A DAR is generated whole because that is what a DAR describes. Some packages
have no DAR of their own, though — daml-stdlib and daml-prim arrive only
as somebody else’s dependency — and publishing those as a crate means
choosing a subset of a DAR that happens to contain them.
A reference out of the selection that is not covered by external is
reported as a skipped type rather than emitted, because the path would name
a module this crate does not have.
