Managed ChromeDriver/geckodriver through command-stream, with typed Fantoccini sessions, portable managed downloads and optional native WebDriver BiDi.

Owns driver, browser session, BiDi and the optional download watcher. All typed Fantoccini APIs are available through Self::client. Close waits for downloads before quitting; Drop stops the owned driver as well.

Functions

build_capabilities

Build W3C capabilities while preserving caller extensions. Managed profile, downloads and BiDi values are authoritative, so an override cannot silently redirect files away from their watcher or abandon the owned profile.

launch_webdriver

Start a locally installed driver. No npm package or Node process is used.

launch_webdriver_snapshot

Copy a live Chromium profile and launch it through native Fantoccini. Firefox uses a different profile format and cannot consume Chromium copies.
