Wire-protocol opcodes (u16, big-endian on the wire).
High byte is the namespace (0x00 substrate / connection / admin,
0x01 typed-graph). Within a namespace the low byte’s high bit
selects direction: < 0x80 server-bound request, >= 0x80
client-bound response. The table is the full v1 set: the handshake
(HELLO/WELCOME/AUTH/AUTH_OK/BYE), keepalive (PING/PONG + server
heartbeat), the cognitive verbs (ENCODE/RECALL/PLAN/REASON/FORGET/LINK
and friends), server-push subscriptions, transactions, capability
introspection, ERROR, and the 0x01xx typed-graph ops the conformance
corpus exercises (entity / statement / relation / schema CRUD, history,
and traversal).
