A detached check’s questions (hook.rs queued, check_async.rs), delivered with the next prompt or tool call after the turn they are about: render’s questions, naming that turn by excerpt (the start of the message it ended with; empty: “your last turn”), each answered with <id>: applies|skip as render asks. The work may have moved on since, so one it already settled is skipped too.
