Every adapter this process could render on.
It creates an instance and enumerates, but no device: that is the cost enumeration exists to
avoid, and the reason the answer carries identity and class only. A caller that already has a
context should use enumerate_adapters_from with its instance, so the list is the one that
context could actually have chosen from.
