pub struct WorldId(/* private fields */);
Expand description

A unique identifier for a World.

The trait FromWorld is implemented for this type, which returns the ID of the world passed to FromWorld::from_world.

Implementations§

source§

impl WorldId

source

pub fn new() -> Option<WorldId>

Create a new, unique WorldId. Returns None if the supply of unique WorldIds has been exhausted

Please note that the WorldIds created from this method are unique across time - if a given WorldId is Dropped its value still cannot be reused

source§

fn init_state( _: &mut World, _: &mut SystemMeta ) -> <WorldId as SystemParam>::State

Registers any World access used by this SystemParam and creates a new instance of this param’s State.
source§

unsafe fn get_param<'world, 'state>( _: &'state mut <WorldId as SystemParam>::State, _: &SystemMeta, world: UnsafeWorldCell<'world>, _: Tick ) -> <WorldId as SystemParam>::Item<'world, 'state>

source§

fn new_archetype( _state: &mut Self::State, _archetype: &Archetype, _system_meta: &mut SystemMeta )

For the specified Archetype, registers the components accessed by this SystemParam (if applicable).
source§

fn apply(state: &mut Self::State, system_meta: &SystemMeta, world: &mut World)

Applies any deferred mutations stored in this SystemParam’s state. This is used to apply Commands during apply_deferred.
