basis-host — host-side basis machinery shared by adapters.
basis is the SDK and owns conventions, the run surface, and the durable
event schema. What lives here is the next layer up that a long-lived host
needs regardless of protocol. The first shared seam is approval policy and
its session-scoped remembered answers.
The layer line is ADR-0025’s application of ADR-0011: this crate depends on
basis and nothing heavier. Protocol bindings stay in basis-acp;
terminal bindings stay in basis-cli; durable task coordination stays in
basis-tasks.
Structs§
- Configured
Source - The default source: sessions basis builds itself, on the process’s runtime.
- Discovery
- Where every session’s workspace discovery looks.
- Host
Session - One open conversation on a long-lived host.
- Interrupt
- The half of a cancellation an approver can wait on.
- Policy
Approver - Applies a session’s policy to each approval request, asking
inneronly when the policy says to ask. - Policy
Gate - The tool authorizer a long-lived host installs on each of its sessions:
the same filter basis’s
ApprovalGateapplies, plus the one answer that has to be terminal. - Session
Approval - One session’s active approval policy and its remembered answers.
- Session
Template - What the operator said and a client cannot say for itself: which provider and endpoint, which model, whether commands are granted, the product’s own voice, how hard to think, and what to call the sessions.
Enums§
- Approval
Policy - What a host does about a consequential call.
Traits§
- Session
Source - Where a hosted session’s
PreparedRuncomes from.
Functions§
