Composable development tasks with typed arguments and shared context.
Task attributes generate a sibling function_task() descriptor while
preserving the original function for ordinary Rust calls. Register those
descriptors explicitly and call Registry::run from your task binary.
Structs§
- Arguments
- Validated command-line values, converted to Rust types by the task adapter.
- Context
- Execution state shared by a chain of tasks and their nested calls.
- Error
- An actionable task, argument, registration, or process error.
- Parameter
- A task parameter. Names use underscores; command-line flags also accept hyphens.
- Registry
- Task registry with deterministic listing and collision errors.
- Task
- A function’s command metadata and generated invocation adapter.
Enums§
- Format
- Built-in result encodings accepted by the default
outputtask. - Value
- Represents any valid JSON value.
Functions§
- value
- Convert a task’s output into the shared, serializable result format.
Type Aliases§
Attribute Macros§
- task
- Preserve a synchronous function and generate
function_task()beside it. Task functions return a Result whose successful value implements Serialize.
