Crate bake_releases 

Reusable release-document tasks, inspired by Samuel Williams’s Ruby bake-releases: https://github.com/ioquatix/bake-releases (MIT). This implementation preserves Markdown bytes rather than re-rendering them.

Functions

extract_notes

Extract the body under an exact ATX heading, retaining nested sections and original Markdown bytes. Missing or duplicate headings are errors.

notes

Extract the Markdown body beneath an exact release heading.

notes_task

Generated Bake task descriptor.

update

Rename Unreleased to a release version, preserving the rest of the document.

update_document

Replace exactly one Unreleased heading without reformatting the document. Existing version headings and multiline version strings are rejected.

update_task
