aws-sdk-sso

AWS IAM Identity Center (successor to AWS Single Sign-On) Portal is a web service that makes it easy for you to assign user access to IAM Identity Center resources such as the AWS access portal. Users can get AWS account applications and roles assigned to them and get federated into the application.

This reference guide describes the IAM Identity Center Portal operations that you can call programatically and includes detailed information on data types and errors.

Getting Started

Examples are available for many services and operations, check out the usage examples.

The SDK provides one crate per AWS service. You must add Tokio as a dependency within your Rust project to execute asynchronous code. To add aws-sdk-sso to your project, add the following to your Cargo.toml file:

aws-config = { version = "1.1.7", features = ["behavior-version-latest"] }
aws-sdk-sso = "1.85.0"
tokio = { version = "1", features = ["full"] }

Then in code, a client can be created with the following:

use aws_sdk_sso as sso;

async fn main() -> Result<(), sso::Error> {
    let config = aws_config::load_from_env().await;
    let client = aws_sdk_sso::Client::new(&config);

    // ... make some calls with the client

    Ok(())
}
