pub struct PutRetentionPolicy { /* private fields */ }
Expand description
Fluent builder constructing a request to PutRetentionPolicy
.
Sets the retention of the specified log group. A retention policy allows you to configure the number of days for which to retain log events in the specified log group.
Implementations
sourceimpl PutRetentionPolicy
impl PutRetentionPolicy
sourcepub async fn send(
self
) -> Result<PutRetentionPolicyOutput, SdkError<PutRetentionPolicyError>>
pub async fn send(
self
) -> Result<PutRetentionPolicyOutput, SdkError<PutRetentionPolicyError>>
Sends the request and returns the response.
If an error occurs, an SdkError
will be returned with additional details that
can be matched against.
By default, any retryable failures will be retried twice. Retry behavior is configurable with the RetryConfig, which can be set when configuring the client.
sourcepub fn log_group_name(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
pub fn log_group_name(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
The name of the log group.
sourcepub fn set_log_group_name(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
pub fn set_log_group_name(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
The name of the log group.
sourcepub fn retention_in_days(self, input: i32) -> Self
pub fn retention_in_days(self, input: i32) -> Self
The number of days to retain the log events in the specified log group. Possible values are: 1, 3, 5, 7, 14, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 365, 400, 545, 731, 1827, and 3653.
To set a log group to never have log events expire, use DeleteRetentionPolicy.
sourcepub fn set_retention_in_days(self, input: Option<i32>) -> Self
pub fn set_retention_in_days(self, input: Option<i32>) -> Self
