Valid options are 'i' for case insensitive matching, 'm' for multiline matching, 'x' for verbose mode, 'l' to make \w, \W, etc. locale dependent, 's' for dotall mode ('.' matches everything), and 'u' to make \w, \W, etc. match unicode.
