Programmatic node identifier: positional, stable within one graph build.
The serializable definition layer uses stable string ids (see
crate::def::NodeDef); the graph keeps a string label per node
(BspGraph::node_label) so definition round-trips are lossless while the hot path
stays on cheap, copyable ids.
