}Expand description
Capture the VM’s state to disk.
Quiescing is this capability’s own business: the driver freezes the guest
for the capture and, per CheckpointOptions::after, either resumes it
or leaves it crate::VmState::Quiesced. There is no pause verb on the
handle.
Required Methods§
Sourcefn checkpoint<'life0, 'life1, 'async_trait>(
&'life0 self,
dst: &'life1 Path,
opts: CheckpointOptions,
) -> Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = Result<CheckpointImage>> + Send + 'async_trait>>where
Self: 'async_trait,
'life0: 'async_trait,
'life1: 'async_trait,
fn checkpoint<'life0, 'life1, 'async_trait>(
&'life0 self,
dst: &'life1 Path,
opts: CheckpointOptions,
) -> Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = Result<CheckpointImage>> + Send + 'async_trait>>where
Self: 'async_trait,
'life0: 'async_trait,
'life1: 'async_trait,
Writes a checkpoint of the VM into dst (created if missing).
Dyn Compatibility§
This trait is dyn compatible.
In older versions of Rust, dyn compatibility was called "object safety".
