Dependency-aware supervision for in-process managed services.
This crate supervises managed services, workers, queues, and threads. It deliberately does not supervise the operating-system process that hosts the Runtime.
Structs§
- Callback
Managed Service - Managed adapter for an embedded resource controlled by callbacks.
- Managed
Thread Service - Managed adapter for one cooperatively cancellable thread.
- Passive
Managed Service - Managed adapter for a passive Runtime resource with no owned worker.
- Restart
Executor Snapshot - Immutable bounded restart-executor diagnostics.
- Restart
Policy - Bounded restart and shutdown behavior for one service.
- Service
Dependency - One dependency and the minimum health required from it.
- Service
Descriptor - Immutable definition of one managed service.
- Service
Snapshot - Immutable diagnostic snapshot for one managed service.
- Supervisor
- Process-local orchestrator for Runtime-owned managed services.
- Supervisor
Diagnosis - Complete result consumed by
appcore doctorand diagnostics. - Supervisor
Event - One bounded, non-sensitive supervisor event.
- Supervisor
Watchdog - Atomic watchdog state shared by reconcile, health, and watchdog threads.
- Watchdog
Config - Watchdog policy supplied by the installation.
- Watchdog
Snapshot - Immutable watchdog progress exposed to health consumers.
Enums§
- Dependency
Requirement - Minimum health accepted from a declared dependency.
- Managed
Resource - Runtime resource controlled by a managed service.
- Restart
Mode - Conditions under which a managed service may restart.
- Restart
State - Lifecycle state of one scheduled restart.
- Service
Activation State - Installation-level activation of one managed service.
- Service
Health - Observable health of one managed service.
- Service
Runtime State - Concrete execution state of one managed service.
- Supervisor
Error - Controlled failure produced by service supervision.
- Supervisor
Event Kind - Stable kind emitted for supervisor and watchdog state changes.
- Watchdog
State - Observable watchdog lifecycle state.
Constants§
- DEFAULT_
EVENT_ CAPACITY - Default number of lifecycle events retained in memory.
- DEFAULT_
WATCHDOG_ CHECK_ INTERVAL_ MS - Default watchdog check interval.
- DEFAULT_
WATCHDOG_ STALL_ TIMEOUT_ MS - Default maximum interval without completed reconciliation.
Traits§
- Managed
Service - Lifecycle boundary implemented by every supervised Runtime service.
Type Aliases§
- Supervisor
Result - Result returned by supervisor operations.
