amont.timeout, default 600 — ten minutes, the figure the generated agent guidance already tells tooling to allow a whole commit or push; a single check that outlives it is not slow, it is stuck. 0 disables. Read once per process: twenty concurrent checks must not each spawn a git config to learn the same number.
