conformance checks for external adapter executables.

which built-in checks to run. the writing ones are off by default: a conformance run is not asked to touch the operator’s backend.

Case

an adapter-specific test case: a full request and what to expect back.

Expect

the expectation for a case; result/error are optional. a stray key is rejected: a typo there silently removes the assertion the case exists for.

Failure

why a check failed, with the diagnostics needed to debug the adapter.

Outcome

the result of one conformance check; failure is None when it passed.

Functions

load_cases

load cases from a .json file or a directory of .json files (sorted). a path yielding no cases returns an empty vec; the caller decides what that means.

run_builtin

run the backend-independent protocol checks that do not write. see Builtins.

run_builtin_with

the built-ins, with the writing ones selectable. see Builtins.

run_cases

run adapter-specific cases against the adapter command.
