Crate acyclic_native_runtime

Source
Expand description

Private native file primitives shared by durable local providers.

Structs§

AsyncRangeReader
Bounded asynchronous positional source backed by the native completion path.
BlockingIoTask
Runtime-independent bounded offload for host operations without a native completion path, such as file locks and directory namespace transactions. Dropping the observer after admission does not cancel the operation.
NativeCompletion
Runtime-independent completion of an owned native-file operation. Once admitted, dropping the observer never cancels the underlying operation.
NativeFile
One file owned by the native I/O runtime.
OwnedRead
One owned positional read request.
OwnedWrite
One owned positional write whose buffer remains live through completion.
OwnershipAnchor
Shared lifetime token for native resources that must not outlive an external owner.
OwnershipReleaseBarrier
A non-owning release condition for an OwnershipAnchor clone family.
ProcessTree
One child and descendants that remain in its operating-system containment.
RangeReader
Bounded positional source for one file range.

Enums§

Durability
Required durability boundary for one file operation.
RenameMode
Destination behavior for one durable rename.

Functions§

durable_rename
Renames one filesystem entry and durably publishes the affected namespace.
is_exclusive_lock_contention
Whether an exclusive file-lock failure proves that another owner holds the lock. Other failures must retain their original I/O error for recovery decisions.
is_uncertain_io_error
Whether a native operation may still have an unresolved kernel completion.
read_at
Reads at an absolute offset without changing the file cursor.
read_batch_async
Submits an owned read batch to the shared native completion worker.
run_blocking_io
Schedules one owned host operation on the bounded native worker pool. Creating the future is lazy; polling it admits the operation.
spawn_process_tree
Starts a child in an owned operating-system process tree.
spawn_service_process
Starts the current executable’s __service mode without inheriting host standard-I/O handles.
sync_data
Flushes file data according to durability.
sync_file
Flushes file contents and metadata according to durability.
sync_parent
Flushes the directory entry namespace on platforms exposing directory flushes.
write_all_at
Writes every byte at an absolute offset without changing the file cursor.
write_all_batch_async
Submits an owned write batch to the shared native completion workers.

Type Aliases§

ReadBatch
Completion of one owned native read batch.
UnitCompletion
Completion of an owned write, resize, sync, or file-control operation.
