How strongly we identify and constrain this contact’s machine.

Controls whether machine identity is taken into account when accepting messages from this contact:

• Anonymous: No machine constraint — agent is trusted regardless of machine.
• Known: Machine seen but not pinned — accepted from any known machine.
• Trusted: Trusted identity; accepted from any machine.
• Pinned: Messages only accepted from machine IDs that appear in the contact’s machine list with pinned: true.
