pub struct Unsealer<R, C: UnsealerConfig> {
pub version: u16,
pub header: Header,
pub pub_id: Policy,
/* private fields */
}rust or web only.Expand description
An Unsealer is used to decrypt and verify data using PostGuard.
Unsealing is a two-step process:
-
First the header is read. This yields information for whom the message is encrypted. Using this information the user can retrieve a user secret key.
-
Then, the user has input the user secret key and the recipient for which decryption should take place.
Fields§
§version: u16The version found before the raw header.
header: HeaderThe parsed header.
pub_id: PolicyThe verified public identity which was used to sign the header.
Implementations§

pub async fn new(r: R, pk: &VerifyingKey) -> Result<Self, Error>
rust and stream only.Sourcepub async fn unseal<W: AsyncWrite + Unpin>(
self,
ident: &str,
usk: &UserSecretKey<CGWKV>,
w: W,
) -> Result<VerificationResult, Error>
Available on crate features rust and stream only.
pub async fn unseal<W: AsyncWrite + Unpin>( self, ident: &str, usk: &UserSecretKey<CGWKV>, w: W, ) -> Result<VerificationResult, Error>
rust and stream only.Unseal the remaining data (which is now only payload) into an AsyncWrite.

Available on crate feature rust only.
pub fn new(input: impl AsRef<[u8]>, vk: &VerifyingKey) -> Result<Self, Error>
rust only.Create a new Unsealer.
Sourcepub fn unseal(
self,
ident: &str,
usk: &UserSecretKey<CGWKV>,
) -> Result<(Vec<u8>, VerificationResult), Error>
Available on crate feature rust only.
pub fn unseal( self, ident: &str, usk: &UserSecretKey<CGWKV>, ) -> Result<(Vec<u8>, VerificationResult), Error>
rust only.Unseals the payload.

impl<R> Unsealer<R, StreamUnsealerConfig>
Sourcepub async fn new(r: R, vk: &VerifyingKey) -> Result<Self, Error>
Available on crate features web and stream only.
pub async fn new(r: R, vk: &VerifyingKey) -> Result<Self, Error>
web and stream only.Create a new Unsealer that starts reading from a Stream<Item = Result<Uint8Array, JsValue>>.
§Errors
Errors if the bytestream is not a legitimate PostGuard bytestream.
Also errors if the items (of type JsValue) cannot be cast into Uint8Array.
Sourcepub async fn unseal<W>(
&mut self,
ident: &str,
usk: &UserSecretKey<CGWKV>,
w: W,
) -> Result<VerificationResult, Error>
Available on crate features web and stream only.
pub async fn unseal<W>( &mut self, ident: &str, usk: &UserSecretKey<CGWKV>, w: W, ) -> Result<VerificationResult, Error>
web and stream only.Unseal into an Sink<Uint8Array, Error = JsValue>.

Available on crate feature web only.
pub fn new(input: &Uint8Array, vk: &VerifyingKey) -> Result<Self, Error>
web only.Create a new Unsealer.
Sourcepub async fn unseal(
