korri-n2k library: primitives and protocols required to handle
NMEA 2000 frames in a no_std environment. The crate exposes the
infrastructure modules (codec, CAN bus), protocol logic (address management,
transport, messages), and a few prototypes.
Modules§
- core
- Core data types shared by the build script and the codec engine.
Defines the “data contract” between
build.rs(the scribe) and the serialization/deserialization engine (the interpreter). - error
- Domain and low-level errors (CAN identifier construction, serialization, deserialization, and related issues). Error definitions shared across library modules. Each type models a specific failure scenario (CAN ID construction, address management, serialization/deserialization, etc.).
- infra
- Representation of a raw NMEA 2000 frame as it is read from the CAN bus. Infrastructure layer: binary codecs, generic interfaces, and shared utilities used by the various protocol implementations.
- protocol
- NMEA 2000 protocol implementation: CAN transport, fast packets, address management, and lookup tables. High-level components of the NMEA 2000 protocol: lookup tables, network management, message structures, and CAN/Fast Packet transport.
