This is supported on crate feature parsing_no_proc only.

Parses a i8 from a &str.

This returns an Err if the string would not successfully .parse() into a i8.

To parse a i8 from only part of a string, you can use Parser::parse_i8.

For an example of how to use this function, you can look at the one for i128.
