Struct cap_std::fs::FileType

source ·
pub struct FileType(/* private fields */);
Expand description

A structure representing a type of file with accessors for each file type.

This corresponds to std::fs::FileType.

We need to define our own version because the libstd `FileType` doesn't have a public constructor that we can use.

Implementations§

source§

impl FileType

source

pub const fn dir() -> FileType

Creates a FileType for which is_dir() returns true.

source

pub const fn file() -> FileType

Creates a FileType for which is_file() returns true.

source

pub const fn unknown() -> FileType

Creates a FileType for which is_unknown() returns true.

source

pub fn is_dir(&self) -> bool

Tests whether this file type represents a directory.

This corresponds to std::fs::FileType::is_dir.

source

pub fn is_file(&self) -> bool

Tests whether this file type represents a regular file.

This corresponds to std::fs::FileType::is_file.

Tests whether this file type represents a symbolic link.

This corresponds to std::fs::FileType::is_symlink.

impl FileTypeExt for FileType

Available on Windows and windows_file_type_ext only.
Returns true if this file type is a symbolic link that is also a directory.
Returns true if this file type is a symbolic link that is also a file.

impl PartialEq for FileType

source§

fn eq(&self, other: &FileType) -> bool

This method tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 · source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

This method tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
