A fast, allocation-free Monte Carlo model of a top-N podium finish in racing events. Derives probabilities for placing in arbitrary positions given only win probabilities. Also derives joint probability of multiple runners with arbitrary (exact and top-N) placings.
Modules
- Utilities for working with CSV files.
- File and directory manipulation utilities.
- The core of the Monte Carlo simulator.
- Utilities for working with probabilities.
- A Selection is a predicate applied to a podium slice. It is used to determine whether a given runner has finished in a specific rank or among the top-N placings.
- Timing of computations.
